Why I'm Running
“I am proud to be from Atlanta. Proud to represent Georgia. Proud to be part of Region IV. But I am not running to serve one city, one state, or one region. I am running to serve the entire Community Action Network.”
No single agency can speak as powerfully as an entire network speaking together.
Dr. Howard W. Grant is seeking to serve as NCAP's 3rd Vice Chair because he believes the strength of Community Action lies in the collective power of its people, agencies and communities.
His candidacy is grounded in listening, collaboration, advocacy and a commitment to ensuring that the realities facing Community Action Agencies and the families they serve remain at the center of the national conversation.
